Ball-thrust screws are used as clamping or support elements when clamping workpieces. Used in equipment construction for machine tools.
The clamping force can be adjusted by the screw's thread. The ball at the end of the screw is used to apply precise pressure at this point.
The ball-end thrust screws comprise of a standard screw with a crimped-in ball at the end of the thread.
